New & Improved PostIt Board 48×48

I knew that I wanted to go for a 4 foot by 4 foot square.  This allows for 16×16 3″ squares which is just enough for a lot of simple old school sprites.  Plus, I just think squares look better.   I had to cobble together some additional panels from some smaller pieces of Foam Core I had lying around.  I’m pretty happy with the results.  I also changed the design and added some more white into the mix.  Changing the design took about 30 minutes.

Post-It art board 36×48

This was my first attempt at PostIt art.  I found a pretty cheap 36×48 Foam Core board at Office Depot and drew a grid of 3″ squares.  I figured the grid would make it much easier to place the squares – especially if I didn’t want to build them in a specific order.  Unfortunatley for now, this is a pretty big, blank wall that kind of dwarfs the “art.” All in all it turned out pretty well and I learned that the 3″ squares work pretty well as a size but aesthetically, the 48×48 square is the way to go.
